Hey all,
I’m hoping someone here has a tip or two for preventing a red dot from washing out and disappearing in the daylight. The dot in question is a bushnell TRS25
I was out for grouse the other day with my brother, and he unfortunately missed one, and commented after about how the dot had entirely vanished when he went to shoot.
I’m contemplating putting the front lens cap back on to completely black it out, but that seems like a bandaid fix.
Does anyone know a decent sub $80 red dot sight that isn’t known for washing out in the daylight? I’m tempted to pick up a cheap amazon optic that has a green function to try it out.
