I had one that was a bit picky with ammo, and I felt the magwell was a bit sloppy regardless of what magazine I tried, but overall it turned out to be reliable and only had failures with steel case. Make sure to check if the stock is contacting the barrel, some require minor trimming. Overall very good rifle for the price!

What’s everyone’s thoughts on these? Worth it?

They're only gonna go up in price. This used to be around their retail price; I remember when you could get one on sale for <$600 taxes in only about a year ago or so. If you're thinking of getting one, best to snag one now while they're on sale.

For the price, yes. I bought one in 300 Blackout, and found it to be a light handling rifle. However, the action is a bit rough compared to rifles (that are double the price) and I wish they had modified the stock so the mag release was fully exposed (it's common to see owners cut away a piece of the stock to fully expose the mag release). Being able to use AR mags was why I choose it over the Remington and Howa, and the decent reviews I read on-line.

THANK YOU for all of the orders! Much appreciated. Just a heads up if you are thinking on one - at the time of this post there are just 3 Ruger Ranch 5.56 left. Give us a call TF 1.888.249.1991 to secure or shop online 24/7.
