red lock tight removal

Should have known better but...

I used red lock tight by mistake on 6 32 set screws mounting a rail.
Screws were torqued to 20 inch pounds if it matters

Tried a good fitting hex key along with kroil and no luck
The hex head is not stripped

The set up is the set screw is squeezing's down on a number 8 lead shot pellet, on to the receiver

Have heard heating a hex key red hot can help release the lock tight

Any other suggestions?

to remove loctite you have to heat it up and then take the screw out

Heat the screw with a soldering iron (small tip).

I would have two keys handy... one you will heat red hot (ruining it as far as strength is concerned) and place it in the screw... do that a few times so the screw gets really hot...hopefully a bit of smoke from the Loctite heating up... then use the cold wrench and try and remove the screw... keep doing it... eventually it should come loose.
