Does anyone have any strong insight (no pun intended) into whether red or green illuminated dot reticle is better?

I will be using it mostly for CQB competition in daylight.

Thanks

I like red, some say that green is more natural for the eye, however there isnt lots offered in green and in some lights and surroundings green can wash out abit.

Get a Holo that supports both red/green! im colour blind so i lose the red in brighter conditions, but see the green just fine and the red works well for me in low light....Problem solved!

Red is undoubtedly more popular (at least it used to be), but green is actually easier to see against a variety of different backgrounds, so they say.

green is better for daytime contrast. It doesn't get washed out by sunlight. It uses considerably more power than red though.

Red is used ideally at night and low-light environments, where it cant get washed out by sunlight and has a high contrast against a dark background.

I've used both, and found that no matter what the light condition I could see red better than the green. I stopped using the green all together as I found it much faster to acquire a target with red.
might be my eyes, but I am not color blind nor do I have any vision problems.
