Red rifle #### other then the SKS.

Doesn't that 97-1 fall under the "Black Rifle" category?

Ya I don't consider Chinese rifles as red rifles either, most are just copies of Russian or American rifles. But they are still commies but I believe in the next 10 years they will change their ways if they want to compete in today's economy. They will be taxed on there exports heavily until they start paying the wages and costs of other countries. The G7 will shut them down.

Anyway they should be lumped in anew category "pacific rim" rifles

What type of rifle is this?
And can you still buy them? If so what do they go for?

Check the EE.. you can usually get one around $1300-1400

That, my friend, is a CZ-858. They are no longer a production rifle and can pretty much only be found on the EE. Prices range from $1000-1800 these days with the majority of them falling in at $1400ish. If you find one on the lower end of the price spectrum, snap it up!

It would be nice if the RedCoats had a sense of Ha-Ha and could get over getting their balls slapped for the original reclassification. As it is, we know that the Sr Mgt of the the RedCoats are a bunch of petty minded, heel kicking children, so the odds of the Tac 2P ever getting a Non-R classification is close to nil - at least while the Libs are in power.

Anyway... Red Rifle pron...

Testing out some different muzzle brakes the other day on my 858... Mag Dump time!

The entire "Red" commie designation is somewhat arbitrary.

--Should the M1891 Mosin-Nagant be included? It was adopted long before the 1917 revolution that created the USSR

--Should US made AK47 copies be called "Red" rifles?

--Same for AK's made in former Warsaw pact countries that are now NATO members? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_states_of_NATO#Member_states_by_date_of_accession

--What about the Valmet from Finland? Israeli Galil. Rep of South African Vektor R4. Based on the AK system, but not communist countries.
