Fellas!
two days after hunting the Bull Tahr further up the valley, This Stag from 3 weeks ago finally stayed out a bit too long after day light one morning high up in a side creek for me to lay eyes on with the binoculars from lower in the valley floor!
ill write a full story soon, but heres me ol trophy pic of the Stag, a Southern Alps public land Otago herd wild red stag!!

Its been such an epic month in the bush with only a few short trips in town to avoid substantial weather periods!
cant wait to tell the story soon!
