Red vs. Green eotech reticle battery life ?

So , I'm in the market for a eotech xps2 , and I've heard about the benefit's of the green over the red as being easier to pick up for older eyes and such , but can't find anything about battery life difference between the two?
Lot longer life will cinch the deal , little longer life , not so much .

Anyone have some insight about this ?

My Google-fu is poor , as I sometimes have trouble finding #### .

On the spec sheet, battery life are identical on both reticles.

However, due to the green reticle being easier to see than red, you will have to dial down the brightness, thus increasing battery life.

On the spec sheet it says 600hrs for the red one , but they have no specs for the green , then , I've heard on YouTube from shotshow that they up'd the red one over 300% on battery life , and somewhere else , not sure where, that the green uses more juice then the red .

Again, the green reticle have the same battery life as the red.

They have made battery improvements as per what you read at SHOT show. They just haven't updated their website.

Found what I was looking for in their 2018 catalog, it claims the green reticle xps2 to have a battery life of 600hrs at normal setting 12 , and the red reticle xps2 to have a battery life of 1000hrs at normal setting 12 .
