Well , tonight my case trimmer just about met it's maker on the concrete floor.

It has got me by decently but I'm getting my fill of it's adjustments and poor operation.

The adjustment nut on the rear is tight as all F and it takes 102 times and adjustments to get it where you want.

And the arbor seems to stick in the housing no matter how much you clean and lube it.

It hasn't been used enough to be worn out either.

Some of the cases once they are trimmed won't back off as the burr seems to catch on the pilot at the cutter surface , not all pilots but some, I checked and cleaned to make sure all is clean and seated properly and it is.

It just seems so archaic , there must be something easier but by the looks of it they are are basically the same.

I use the Lee trimmers in a Lyman case prep centre. I like that they trim to the correct length every time, no messing around with any adjustments. Idiot proof, just the way I like it.
