Hi,
I have the opportunity to purchase either of the above and want opinions.
I am just getting into reloading and will be loading for 6.5x55, .308, .300 Win Mag, .375 Win and .357 Magnum.
The Redding press is cheaper by approximately $40 but I dont want to make a mistake.

Last time I went to buy a press I was all set to buy a Rockchucker. There was a Redding Big Boss right beside it on the shelf on sale. Both presses were also on display and after looking them both over really well, the Redding followed me home. I am sure I would have been just as happy with the RCBS but in my opinion the Redding was the better press and $40 cheaper.

I use a Redding Boss press and its just fine and very strong. You will have no issues Reloading the above mentioned cartridges with a Redding or Rcbs. Use the money you saved on the press to buy components or towards the gaggle of other gear you will be using to reload.

Most of my reloading tools are RCBS. I have had two or three issues with broken parts over the last few years and all it took was a phone call to their service line. The replacement parts were in the mail, free of charge and usually with extras.
One issue was a broken decapping pin and a bent internal resizing rod. I got the resizer, rod, collet and lock nut sent to me plus a bottle with 10 decapping pins. Service is the best, I will continue to purchase RCBS in the future.
