Started to work on my .356 load and well it really didn't work out!

It looks like the reeding can't seat the bullet deep enough. That mean that I can't crimp (I need to crimp since it goes in a win 94), and the bullet is too long and not feeding properly. Now I tried to seat the plug at the lowest and even that is not deep enough. I am using win new brass and honardy ftx bullet. I am wondering if the ftx bullet and its profile are just not working whit that die, however this die is compatible .358/.356 so it should not be an issue.

My guess is that I am having a code 18 error and I F** up!

Any hint is appreciated.

redding is going to fix the issue, they will send me a no 20 plunger as they told me that it does happen that people can't seat the FTX bullet deep enaugh and over crimp

Any update on this issue? I'm going to be loading some .356 with FTX shortly and have read about having to trim the brass to be able to keep the OAL down and still be able to crimp, but now curious about the issue you are having with the redding dies as that's what I just got.

Thanks,

Kyle
