Is anyone using Redding Competition Shellholders for full length resizing? I have been doing a lot of neck sizing but today I had to full length size some 308 brass for my Model 88 and again have found them to be as handy as pockets on a shirt. I have made up some collars for each cartridge I reload, they go over the case neck and sit on the shoulder so I can measure the headspace of a fired cases and use the shell holder of choice to set the headspace just right when I full length resize. I hope that those who use them find them as handy as I have. When I sized my brass I used the .006 shellholder a Lee full length die to set the shoulder back .001. They chamber with no problems.

It seems that nobody has found Reddings competition shell holders as usefull as I have, or you have just not had the opportunity to try them. They do work very well for controlling head space when full length resizing.
Thanks for at least loking.

The whole idea of the competition shellholders ( to control the exact amount of FL sizing ) is awesome

I only have the #1 set (for 308 casehead ) and I use it for 308, 22-250

It really makes you aware on the variation of chamber dimensions on production rifles. I have 4 308s and 3 need different additonal thickness
