do redding dies work in RCBS presses? as far as set up and actual use are they the same as RCBS dies?
i ask because the Reddings come with full length and neck sizing dies for less than RCBS purchased separately (and Sinclairs says the Reddings are pretty good)....

Yes...just about all modern dies are manufactured to the same size specs of 7/8"-14 so you can use them in just about any press of modern manufacture. The same can't be said for dies for the .50 BMG or dies made for the Lyman tong tool.

RCBS & Redding are great choices for starting out with as well! Buying quality up front will save you money in the long run since you might as well buy the equipment now, that you'll eventually end up with anyway!:)

Yep Id agree 100% Redding have been the best I have owned, never had any problems w/ them. RCBS are pretty good and their customer service is near the top if not the best.

Cheers!!

thanks, i had to ask because i bought some Lee a couple of years ago for the same reason but the setup was a little different than my usual RCBS dies and just di'dn't "feel" right.....

Redding Dies

I use Redding dies in my RCBS press for my .22-250AI, and .280AI and they work just fine.RCBS does have awesome customer service!I stripped the setscrew on the rough adjustment on my case trimmer, and when I called them for parts, the sent them free of charge, even though I told them the fault was mine, not the products!Great service!
