Can someone tell me where in Canada I can order Redding equipment and not have to wait on supremely long back orders?

I am looking for shellholder sets, 7mm08, 270 Win, 325 WSM and 7mm STW deluxe die sets, etc.... Nothing exotic.....

On a side note, does anyone know where Winchester brass is manufactured now? I usually order brass in large lots then sort by weight, wall thickness, uniformity then a bin for culls that I use for testing. But the last batch I received was horrible! Neck thickness was thick on one side, thin on the other, weights and lengths were all over the map, and very well beat up from shipping. They look like they came from Siberia in an old chuck wagon for 20,000 miles!

Your best chance of finding everything in stock is likely Sinclair, and if you are ordering a few hundred dollars worth of merchandise, the savings will usually offset the shipping. There are no restrictions on importing reloading tooling.

I called Grouse River Outfitters to make sure they had everything I needed that was listed on their site. The friendly girl on the phone confirmed they had all $1,400.00 worth in stock. I placed the order friday, today I get a message from GRO customer service to call them, I call them and find out EVERYTHING I ordered made by redding is on backorder and they have NO ETA.... sheesh! Why was I told they had it all in stock! So, I guess I am getting half of an order sometime this week.

Will have to get my redding elsewhere then!

thx guys! looks like Sinclair it is... Epps site just links to Reddings site so I have no idea what they stock, as for WSS, their site is broken, and they have VERY limited stock anyway...

As much as I like to support local businesses, and especially forum sponsors, when you need a variety of Redding dies, it can be very difficult to find them all at one Canadian dealer. On the other hand Sinclair usually has everything that I need in stock.

I've had nothing but disappointment trying to reload Winchester brass ... I'm now only buying Starline.

Have you tried Wholesale Sports? If they don't have everything you want, often they can pull stock from another store in 1-2 weeks.

Stubblejumper is right on the money. If looking for a variety of Redding equipment then Sinclairs is my first choice - they usually have stock, fast shipping and are competitively priced even with shipping costs.

I'd like to like Grouse River, but they've left me stewing on more than one occasion for backorders with undetermined ETA's and no communication.

Ditto, my biggest complaint is the website shows equipment they don't stock, or haven't had in a long while, and when you call the person at the other end states they have it! I was billed the full $1,337.XX but over half of that is back ordered now with no ETA!

I ordered my Redding stuff as well as a slew of other stuff through Sinclair over the years. If Sinclair doesn't have it you probably don't need it. No issues with shipping and it gets their fast. Plus its great getting that catalog in the mail when you least expect it.

Grouse River always calls me and asks me (if something I ordered online) is not in stock, if I want to wait, cancel or ship what is in stock. They have always been prompt, polite and quick to ship with all my orders.

4 calls to Grouse River, and 2 calls from them, and they just rebilled me the exact total of the original order, again. Not exactly rocket scientists over there these days. Lol

I have no doubt they will correct this but wow......just wow lol

North Pro Sports in Saskatoon, Sk deals direct with Redding. Most everything of mine is Redding and was ordered through North Pro. Depending on how much you order, they may order it directly from Redding same day or add it to other special orders to justify the shipping costs. h ttp://northprosports.com/shop/

I have an order on the way from Sinclair already, however next time I will be looking for a Canadian supplier. Thank you guys for all the help and information! From now on hopefully I can help keep the $$ north of the border!
