I am thinking about getting a Redding T-7 turret press and was wondering if anybody who has one could comment on how they like or dislike it. It looks like it would be great for loading cartridges that you would like to crimp as a separate step or with longer cartridges like my 338 RUM which is a bit long for my close to 40 year old Rockchucker press.

I love mine, but have only loaded 223 and 308 on it so far.
Next step for me will be Redding or RCBS comp dies.
I love the option that I can decap, resize, seat and crimp without changing my dies over.
757 fixer is correct in saying that its built strong.
I am very happy with mine.

Have had mine for a few years and love it. It is built like a tank, gives a guy some flexability to change back and forth what dies you are using without haveing to change each die out to use another one. Ammo loaded on it is as accurate as on a single stage press, not talking benchrest here but out to 6-700 meters it seems to work OK :sniper::D

I've used a T-7 extensively since this past spring. The turret turns a little easier than I would like, which caused me a problem on one occasion. Also, I had to run a tap through the threads the other day to get a Lyman die to screw in. Some of the threads are rough. On the other hand, the freedom to use multiple dies simultaneously is great. Currently, I am loading a 338 Lapua and a 325 WSM and a 7.82 Warbird. It is great to be able to leave the dies set up until the loads are developed. The only other press I considered was a Forster Co-Ax. All considered, I am happy with the T-7.
