This bushing die is new to me and I have a question about setting it up. I selected my bushing of choise but may go one smaller next time. I put the bushing in and screwed down the de-capping rod until it touched then backed it out 1/16 of a turn.
Next with shellholder installed I moved the ram as high as it would go. Now the instructions say to screw in the die until it touches the shell holder then back out one full turn and lock the die. Then after sizing, if the case will chamber in the gun easily you are good to go, if not turn down abit and try again.
Well mine would chamber easily doing this but it appeared that only the top of the neck got resized. Should I turn it down as far as I can without touching the shoulder?
One U-tube video said to only back it up 1/4 turn from the shellholder. Anyone have any experience with this type of die set. Appreciate any help. Cheers Roscoe
