So.... I have a 1903A4 clone by Rock Ridge...very nice with a C stock and a sweet and tight 1/10 Criterion barrel 30/06...
May as well call it a match barrel as it is still tighter than GI spec and it is used.

I picked up this rifle to have fun against modified milsurp rifles such as No4T clones and Moisin's etc that have modern scopes with the vintage look and anything spun off from a military heritage.

If those rifles were still in use with the military, as an issue firearm, their scopes would have been upgraded to what you just put on or something more modern, but not necessarily more capable.

We could beat you up for using a modified 03A3 for a clone, but we won't.;) Given that it is a clone, it would allow for more consistent shooting if the trigger guard were replaced by an milled style, which is less liable to bend. As you know, 03A4s used a modified stamped trigger guard with a reinforcement added to the rear of the front guard screw which was intended to provide more solidity. These are tough to find.

It is your rifle and kind of cool but the the older rifle and newer scope do look a little incongruous in my opinion. Have you tried adding a Garand/M14 sling? This might help make the combination a little more believable and every rifle needs a sling.....

I have an ART I on a Remington 40xb 308
Realist made the scope and the mounts for Leatherwood
