I have a Redfield 3-9x40 thats left to right adjustment is pooched. It's quite a heavy scope and is pretty clear.Iwould like to get it fixed.I put it on my Parker Hale 30-06 ,upon sighting it in i discovered i could get it 2'' high at 100 yards but consistently shot 6'' left no matter what way i turned the screw. Does anyone know where i can get it fixed? Someone told me Leupold bought Redfield but i dunno. Dean.C

Hi Dean, The only place that I heard of that repairs Redfields is some place in Florida.I had the address last fall, so will try and relocate it in my gunroom. Kinda disorganized right now....Ken

Leupold repair in southern Alberta.

Thanks Ken, someone else told me of a guy in southern Alberta who fixes Leupold scopes who can do Redfield as well. If anyone out there has the info please pass it on. Dean.C.

He is in New Norway, AB. 788 855-2291 :)

He has done a few Weavers for me and the work has always been great, however the last time I was speaking with Harvey he was not doing work on Redfields.

The scope repairs for Trace are now being done in Calgary, Harvey is only doing stock work at New Norway. I think it's his son-in-law that has taken over the scope side. He has had adds in Canadian Access notifying of the changes.

Thought I should pass this on.

As a Redfield scope owner, it was emphasized to me to be careful not to over-travel the adjustments (never try to reach the end of the adjustment)- doing so would end up in a major fix job.

This probably applies only to certain models??
