Hello folks,

This is only my second post and first actual question! I would like to mount a scope onto my Benelli Nova Pump shotgun. I am new to hunting and gun ownership (1.5 years). So far I've targeted a variety of game just to see what I am going to prefer.. everything from rabbit to deer! I got my first turkey this spring.

I intend to use the scope for both deer and turkey. I do not want to spend a lot of money. I have heard that Redfield makes excellent scopes for the price.

If I went with the Redfield, which model would be appropriate for my Benelli (it is a smoothbore barrel - no slug barrel)?

Any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

If you go with Redfield Revolution 2X7X33 you will have it for life it is quality wise between the 3200 and 4200 Bushnell serie, they are made by Leopold... JP.

Thanks, Caramel. Everyone seems to really like the Redfields.. especially because they are so reasonably priced..

So that model would fit nicely on the Benelli?

Thanks again!

Close enough if you have member card at Le Baron they are 170.00 minus 15% for the month of june, just bought 3 of the 4X12X40 Redfield out of the door cost 603.00, for you since you gone use it for turkey and deer 2X7X33 is the max magnification you need... JP.
