I have seen a lot of ads about Redfield scopes on TV, in magazines, and online and am quite interested in a Redfield Revolution 3-9x50. I know they are a lower cost scope....Vortex, Trijicon, and most Leupold scopes are quite a bit over what I can justify paying for a scope that will only be used for hunting a few weeks in the fall. I'm not expecting to get a top end optic for a couple hundred dollars, but does anyone know if they are at all decent scopes for what they cost ?

Thanks for the link and the replies... I looked around, but couldn't find anything so I figured another thread wouldn't hurt. I think I'll go have a look at one up close. They seem like they would be a pretty good scope for the price and should be finest kind for what I want. I'd love to go drop $600 on a fancy Leupold or something, but for the shooting I do, it just doesn't make much sense. I have a cheap Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 right now and I don't mind it at all for what I paid for it... I'd just like to have something a little better.
