Redfield tombstone 3x9 scope

I haven't seen one set up like this before: TV profile lenses front and back, integral turret housing that wraps around the entire tube body, tombstone reticle and target elevation knob. Would anyone have an approximate date of manufacture? Suitable for a mock USMC M40 or early M40A1?

When I was "somewhat younger" than I am today I remember looking at the Weatherby rifles in the newsprint style catalogs and the "new" TV View Redfields and thinking "I want that"

That would have been back in the mid 1970's up to maybe the early 1980's, so I would suggest that might be when they hit the market, perhaps a little earlier.
