Hey guys whats your opinion on the better scope of the Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 & Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 rifle Scopes?


Ive used both.... I own one, although I've Traded my 300 for a 308, the deal was for rifle + rings and Im deciding on which scope I want to keep as the Other Bloke is happy with either LOL.

I really don't think you can go wrong with either. Great scopes. Which reticle do you prefer? I like the Revolution better because it is compact. I like the FFII because it has a slightly better optic. If you have both, bring them at dusk and see which one works best for your eye - hopefully there is enough of a difference to make you pick one over the other.
 
I don't have both at the same time, The other fella has my gun at the moment until we do paperwork next weekend.

I don't have the redfield but i do own a leupold vari x II (now called vx 1) and they are close to, if not the same scope. I also own an earlier US made fullfield 2 and for me,the burris gets the nod. It is definitely brighter and their ballistic plex reticle is one of the better bdc reticles in the price range.
 
The Burris Fullfield II was made to be a more economical scope but Burris did, IMO, a very nice job with this one - sometimes you run across a scope that is a real standout in its price range (Bushnell Elite 10x for $250 or so is a good example) and the Fullfield II is one of those scopes.

Is that so about the Leuopolds? so my old 2-7 vari x ii is just a vx1? an the revolution is a similar vx1 aswell... trueee

it did seem brighter (burris) I do like the acccurange reticle though on the rev
