Redi MAg vs MAg clamps???

Whats prefered? I wanted to go with the redi mag for convienience however the clamp bring ups a cheap alternative...

$80 USD
vs...

$10 cdn

Of course I'd have to buy a few to pair up a couple mags, however, what are guys going with?

Between the 2 go for the Readi Mag. You can use standard mag pouches, plus you won't be losing ammo if the second (uncovered) mag on riding on the side of the gun gets jarred.

I have been running a redimag in one version or another for the last few years. Fastest reload around. The most important load will be the first one after you empty the mag in your gun. It should be fast and easy to do. With practice, it is very slick. After the mag hase been used from the redimag, I just load mags as I would from my pouches. When I get a chance to tac-reload, I top off the gun and the redimag.

plus the redi-mag "probably" (im unsure as ive never tried it) would be able to clamp a lar 10rnd which the the mag doubler cant

With your second option you can't keep the second mag. loaded - once the two magazines are out, that is it. The red-mag is a revolving system. If you get a chance while shooting or under cover, you re-loading the redi-mag from a waist pouch (my system) or a tac vest pouch, so you always have that second magazine available in the redi-mag. It's faster and more efficient but the price is amazing for a steel part. You definitely want the bolt catch extension. It allows you to drop the charging handle by just pressing a button instead of using your left hand and not having the rifle in a cheek weld. It is a better system for all around movement and reloads in my opinion but I don't know much. It works for me.

On a side note one of mine seems to have problems with pmags,
has anyone else experianced this?
