He wants some reduced loads your comment is no help.
If you are suggesting he use h110 for reduced loads we all know the issue with that one.

Sure, if you only have one powder, & you want to fire your rifle with pistol powder, then buy a Pistol Caliber Carbine.
In my eagerness to suggest he use rifle powders for rifles, which include reduced rifle powder loads, he must have bought a rifle for some reason. Right?
Rifles with pistol powder loads are pointless in most indoor ranges, & pointless on outdoor ranges at reduced range. If you want to shoot reduced pistol powder loads in a rifle, why did you buy a rifle?
