Hi all,
I've been digging around on the web and it looks like H4350 is definitely NOT recommended for truly reduced / youth type loads in the way H4895 can be used. What I'm wondering is how low is ok? I'm loading for 270 win - if there is a published load minimum for a heavy bullet (say 51 grains H4350 for a 140/150 gr bullet) would this charge be ok for a lighter projectile (say 95 or 110 grains)? I can't see it being an issue, since the pressure will be a lot lower, and this charge obviously isn't dangerously small for the cartridge volume.
Am I missing anything here folks? Thoughts? Anyone tried this sort of thing?
