i got a MArlin 336 in .32 WS that i'm gonna let my young cousin use when he starts deer hunting.would like some recipes for some light loads that he can use for range practice.

I shoot a .32 spl with 170 gr RNFP gaschecked cast bullets, my most accurate load I've found is 16.5 grains of SR4759 (10 round group @ 50 yds hover around an inch) with 20 grains of Reloader 7 coming in a close second. IMR 3031 has also produced reasonable results. Please note this is with cast bullets rather than jacketed - cast bullets conform to the rifling easier and create lower pressures and slightly higher velocities when compared to jacketed bullets loaded with the same powder charge. Recoil with these loads is almost nonexistent.

BTW - it's good to hear that you are starting the young fella off with lighter loads, so many people make the mistake of introducing young shooters to centerfire rifle with full loads.
