Refinishing a 1911 slide?

Hey guys,

I bought this brand new Norinco 1911A1C (the Commander version, parkerized) and I haven't even fired the thing yet, but the finish is already wearing off the slide just from handling!! So I want to de-chineseify this gun, and I want to refinish the slide. What would you guys use? I want a nice "blued" look but I want to use paint and clearcoat, or gunkote or something... any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, any tips on how to upgrade and accurize this pistol would be welcome!

I also was offended by the comments you made to him. I will pray for you tonight in my church that does not in any way condone chior boys getting the weiner in between the buttocks from the alternate lifestyle priests.

Yet Spanky's motherfornicating laziness makes me want to cry for fornicatings sake. I think they should ban his buttocks if not for this at least for the fact that he watches ####ographic movies and we all know that satan is the real producer of all ####o.

I will pray for all your souls and will pray that I am not bunged up anymore this week because of all the shift work my employer has made me do. He's not very nice. I would like to punch him in the fornicating testicals then give him a golden shower.

I haven't had a very big poo(censored by the man)in a few days now and I feel as though my smelly spot is about to explode.

As for the bluing get yourself some oxpho blu and do it yourself its easy and leaves a nice satin blue finish that is by far the best cold to warm bluing on the fuching planet.
 
You could just reparkerize by degreasing and drop it in some parkerizing solution (no need to strip off the old park) or if you wanted to get fancy, you could polish the flats and rust-blue the sides using JP's solution and heat gun - very durable.
