Refinishing a stock that has been glass bedded ???

I have a gun stock that needs refinishing. It is glass bedded. Using the dipped method of stripping will it react with the bedding ?? I’ve had a couple stocks stripped this way but they were not glass bedded. Thanks!!

Don't 'strip' the bedding and you won't need to rebed is my advice. Some bedding compounds may be affected.
