Several good products on the market, I have used Brownell`s Gun kote and baking laquer with great resuls but you have to order from the US.

Seriously degrease the receiver, glass bead blast it, spray on the Gun- Kote, Armacoat or whatever you select, bake in oven for 30 minutes & voila!, a beautiful, hard, matte black or whatever other colour you select finish that can be easily resprayed if scratched, etc.
