I'm thinking this could be a fun project especially on my slug gun. Anyone tried this and have a suggestion for a reflex sight that will hold up to that kind of pounding?

I have a HS9 with 22 inch barrel with a slug choke. If I can a decent reflex I will drill I will get a rail and go to town. If you ask why I'm not sure I could answer that question except.... Ok I got nothing but I think it would be cool. 2 to 4 MOA dot/reticle would be cool.

I'm actually shopping for a rds for a KSG I just purchased , I leaning toward a Aimpoint H1 or Eotech xps2. I already have a couple aimpoints and know for sure they will take anything you can throw at it. I tend to want to put a micro on every firearm tho but thinking the circle and dot could work quite well on a shotgun.

Odd, I have a trs-25 that is on my 870.
Haven't had it for long but it has shot probably 50-60 slugs, 50-60 3" steel BB rounds, 30-40 00 Buck and god only knows how many target loads.
Still holding up alright.
Maybe I got lucky.

Slightly off topic, but I finally got to try my sight on some birds this weekend (went out goose blasting) and it worked better then I hoped.
Shoot both eyes open and treat it like a holographic "bead" and it works wonders.

dont use bushnell trs-25 mine broke it after 30-40 slugs 2 3/4

Buy a good red dot sight

HAHA! I feel the same way, I love my aimpoints.

Just posted these in another thread.

You got a lemon my friend, send it back to bushnell and get a new one. The only way to go for a red dot sight under $200 bucks is the trs. That being said, if you have more cash to spend, it does give you more options.
