was looking at a 1953 tula, it has the square with a line through it on the top cover, but i could see no signs of work done to it. the stock has very few dings, kisses, whatnot on it, at first glance appears new but there are a few small blemishes. has the inspection marks plain as day on the left forestock and right buttstock. no x'ed out numbers on it. metal is excellent, no electropencil other than on rear sight and gas tube. also has the golden bayo.
what else should i look at?
