I bought this refurb with the other 3 Tulas. It is very nice condition, unused since refurbishment. The body cover bears the "diamond" stamp above the Izhevsk symbol and date, indicating it has been refurbed.
All major components are stamped matching original, except for the bolt carrier (a re stamped serial number with evidence of grinding of the original number), and the birch stock (crossed out original numbers with new serial numbers stamped below, refinished stock with small arsenal repair to the front edge). The chrome line barrel is sharp and bright, and appears in excellent condition. The metal does not show any heavy use or pitting under the new blue finish.
This one, like the others, came with a new stripper clip pouch, stripper clips, cleaning kit, and a 1990 dated sling. This carbine will become my regular plinker at the range.
