When you purchase a restricted firearm, where does the registration card come from, the place you bought it or the CFO?

Neither, the registration is Federal and you'll receive your new reg cert for the firearm in the mail from Miramachi. It doesn't matter what type of firearm you buy (non-restricted, restricted, or prohib), the reg certs all come from the same place.
