Registry Status?

What exactly is the current status of the long-gun registry?

I was under the impression that is was gone, but today I was told it was in limbo (amnesty?), and that the Bill would be fully removed in the fall.

Please point me towards documentation, if you can.

there still is the registry at least till the end of summer than they will be passing a bill to get rid of it

it's still there for now and yes there is an amnesty.

The Bill hasn't even been introduced yet. Let's hope they move fairly quickly and that the cure ain't worse than the disease.
