So I forgot to mention that my DCRA #650 rifle has this stamped on the receiver. Can any one tell me what Fulton did to these rifles they stamped with their name. I noticed the trigger guard has a small plate welded to the front of it to increase the load bearing area.

And the corresponding spot on the receiver which on a normal No 4 has a little metal sleeve slide in is machined smooth

Very nice option on a DCRA.....looks like it went to Bisley. iIve been told by Shooters that went to the Uk that they sought Fultons services to "regulated" or accurized their rifle(s). In your case the rim has been removed from the mounting stud beneath the receiver, triggerguard front tang reinforced and most likely a heavy bushing fitted to get the bearing pressure desired. Stock most likely was adjusted at the tip and maybe centre bedded. Fultons just did bedding changes in according to the rules of the day. Hope this helps. Ron

Thanks Ron. Guess I get to duplicate the stock mods when I find a Canadian set of front wood.Or since it went to England would it make any difference what wood it has? Jim

Generally the original forend was used providing it was in good condition. Do you need a forend? Walnut or maple? Ron

Well I do have a walnut buttstock with the Canadian acceptance mark so I guess I should stick with the walnut. How hard to get walnut top handguards? All I ever see is the light colored stuff except for some Pakistani mk 2 wood I have
