Hey all. I picked up an old 60s aya single shot recently but the wood at the head where it meets the action has shrunk over time in such it makes a click when pushed on. There is a very thin line of light present between the wood and the tang when held against the light. So what is the best option to strengthen this area to avoid a cracked stock? Brass pin? Glass bedding? Threaded all rod?
