Reinforcing Stock Wrist

Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if any of you know of any methods to help reinforce the wrist on a stock? I'm going to be shooting some pretty heavy-recoil rounds in the next little while, and would like to stop the wrist on my stock from cracking.

I'm just wondering if any of you know of any methods to help reinforce the wrist on a stock? I'm going to be shooting some pretty heavy-recoil rounds in the next little while, and would like to stop the wrist on my stock from cracking.

I've stopped fledgling wrist cracks from spreading by removing the action and drilling 1/4 inch holes from inside the stock into the pistol grip/tang area and then filling with epoxy. The holes don't go all the way through, nothing is visible from exterior of the stock.
