I have been using win231 for my .40cal what is difference, if none, what is data for 231

I use 4.1 grains of W231 with a 180 grain Montana Gold CMJ bullet and WSP primers, OAL 1.125. This is out of my Glock 22. 4.0 grains also cycles but I had a few failure to feed out of 100 and zero failure to feed out of 100 with 4.1 grains. I don't know the velocity yet but I'm going to ask Dragoon to bring his chrony (assuming he has one) when I see him this weekend.

Slavex,

Wow.. that's quite a difference. What pf does your load chrono to? Mine cames in at 128pf when I last did it in June?

I found that the Titegroup is a bit dirty and the win231 is very dirty.

So I use this:
147 gr Montana Gold, 3.8 gr Vihtavuoti n330, PF 128, OAL 28.6mm
130 gr Montana Gold, 4.0 gr Hodgdon Universal, PF 128, OAL 28.6mm

I think it works out to about 134 or so. I can't remember what I did in Ecuador, but I know I had lots of room, like 20pf or so.

I see... that might explain it.

FWIW I normally shoot Standard and the Production gun is only for "off season" club matches so I don't worry too much about my minor load.
