I just started researching loads for my sons new 270 wsm and found on the Alliant site they recommend rl 23 & 26 for 140 gr. accubonds and for most of the other bullets. I haven't seen these 2 powders mentioned on any of the forums, mostly RL 19 and 22 from Alliant . Has anyone tried these with good results? Just basically looking for a bit of feedback on these.

thanks

I have a lifetime supply of RL26. It gives close to 100fps more velocty than RL22 with the same, or less chamber pressure. Temp stable and short cut - it's fantastic. I've used it in a standard 270 Win to push 150's to 3000 fps from a 24" barrel. Haven't used it in a 270WSM yet but it has excelled in 280 Ackley, 7mm SAUM, 7mm Rem Mag

RL23 is basically a temp stable RL22
