reloading 14/12 police shells

Your looking at the wrong pic. I said the first 3 pics.

Yes, I understood that the first 3 pics are of the 14/12.

But I am saying the cartridge in the 4TH PICTURE that you have labelled as "25-20" looks like a 25-35 WCF. I am saying your label might not be correct.

Edit: Sorry wrong picture. Look in the 6th picture of that post. Top row, 2nd cartridge from the left is labelled "25-20" I'm fairly sure that is not a 25-20 WCF.

There are basically the same internal size as a standard 12 gau hull but with hips LOL!Laugh2 the wading size shouldn`t be and isue as it will be crimped ( brass shell hulls only !) The load data you will have to find . I would imagine that the original loads weren't all that hot as theses single shot shotguns were ment for that Indigenous usage and were of a controlled distribution .

ah the Greener MkIII shotgun.

like the older Martini actions but slightly bigger.

they are actually closer to 14 1/2 gauge bore but with a case head the same sixe as a 12 gauge.

I have one myself but no ammo :(

the ring in the case head is to accommodate a fireing pin that has 2 extra protrusions to prevent any use of non special rounds. Easily modified with a little grinding.

there is a place in the US that makes brass shells from barstock for these guns but it was a little too pricey for me, I don't remember who but google will find the answer.

I still need to buy some 12 gauge brass shells and make my own dies to neck them down to fir the Greener Martini.
