Picked up a Rem pump gun in 30 Rem as well as 2 boxes of Rem factory ammo and some Rem and Dominion brass Nice condition including bore. Going to try some cast loads. I know that 3030 loads are interchangeable. Are the cases exactly the same size? Can I just use my 3030 dies? What is the correct shell holder? Looking forward to getting the old lady shooting again.

I'm sure that other 30 Remington shooters will add to this post, but for now, RCBS list their #19 shell-holder for 30 Remington. I don't see dies listed by them, Lee or Lyman.
"Cartridge Conversions" shows the 30-30 as having similar dimensions, but a much longer neck and noticeably lower shoulder, so it looks like if you use your 30-30 dies, even to try to neck-size only, you will likely bugger-up your brass.
I'd try an EE WTB ad. for a die set, and if no luck then check out CH/4D for new dies.
Good luck.

Loads are similar but that is all. 30-30 is a rimmed case 30 rem rimless. As stated case dimensions are not the same.

I have rcbs dies but they may be special order send them an e-mail and ask and yes cases are not same as 30-30 but internal capacity is the same so 30-30 data can be used

I have a Model 141 in 30 Remington and I have handloaded rounds for it with my RCBS 30-30 dies.I started with Dominion 32 Remington brass necked down by carefully easing them into the 30-30 dies until they just barely make contact with the existing shoulder to preserve the headspace dimension. They chamber just fine in my rifle and,yes,30-30 data is interchangeable when it comes to loads. Now,as for cycling rounds through the rifle I have had the best results with plain old fashioned 150 gr. round nose bullets as I had problems with pointed spitzer type bullets hanging up in the action. All of this being said, before I go much further I'm ordering a set of dedicated 30 Remington dies from CH4D shortly, the 30-30 case dimensions are different as has been pointed out and at some point they will need to be full length sized to avoid chambering problems because with the 30-30 dies you are basically neck sizing only. This will eventually cause difficult chambering in the pump action type of rifles in this caliber. My experience so far, others may have different mileage.
