So I'm in the process of purchasing a Marlin 93 in 32-40 - and now I'm going to have to feed it. I've read that I can fireform 30-30 brass into 32-40, so brass isn't a problem. To anyone that reloads it - what's a good powder to use? Preferred bullet weight? Any info would be appreciated.

Cast bullets are a natural in the .32/40 and the orig. loading was a 165gr. flat point lead bullet, loaded with Black Powder, Winchester still makes brass for this one, you can make them from 30/30 but they come up a bit short, my best load with smokeless was with IMR 4759(a reduced charge). In most lever guns the bullet must be seated deep for functioning and that is not always condusive to good groups. Breach seating bullets in a single shot is were the accuracy really comes out. You can also use trail boss although the vel. is low, 4227,RL-7. Bullets avail. from MT Chambers Supply.

I would ask this question at leverguns.com. If I remember, there is an issue about using 30-30 and what bullet to use to get the right oal. resized 38-55 maybe better but I am not sure. The great source of knowledge at leverguns will answer you with accurate info real quick.
