A older fellow I hunt pheasants with has a short haired pointing griffon .He uses a .32 S+W calibre blank pistol for training purposes. I have been researching this a bit and would prefer not to use BP as it's a pain to clean the fired cases afterwards. With BP blanks you need to drill out the primer holes to prevent the primers backing out and locking up the cylinder, not sure if this applies to smokeless? For BP they use florist foam in the case so eliminate the airspace . No crimp or flaring required. I'd like to use 2gr of Unique and just seal the top 1/4" of the case mouth.Anyone made any of these up? Not sure if the revolver is pot metal or what. It just needs to safely go bang.
