Reloading 38 Special Question

Personal preference, I load 7,000-8,000 rds of .38 Spl a year for the wife and I shooting Cowboy action and I have been using the 4th (taper crimp) die for 20 years. I like consistent crimps and to eliminate any belling of the case mouth, plus I use a Lyman T Mag II turret press.

Glad to hear they worked out.

What you need to try next is some 110gr bullets on top of 21-22gr of h110 in a 357mag case, big ass boom!

Thanks man. I'll post target soon. BTW this is only my 2nd time firing so dont make fun of me too bad haha

No use of you posting a target, or even thinking about a descent score, or group, until you have done much more shooting, holding the hand gun in your hands, without artificial rest.
A hand gun is the most difficult type of gun to learn to shoot properly, so just sending lead down the barrel may not improve your shooting one bit, unless it is done properly. Best way is to have a coach who knows what they are doing. Next best is to thoroughly study a good book on the subject.
Just to give one little hint here, when shooting bulls eye type of shooting, one does not adjust the sights because of a few shots going in one particular place. He/she shoots several targets and if the majority are say, going to the left, he/she will consider moving the sights to compensate for it, but the real cause of them predominantly going to the left is more likely the way the trigger is released!

Thanks coach!! haha but i didnt mean it was my 2nd time firing a handgun in my life.

I have shot many handguns and own quite a few. I meant to say this is my 2nd time firing this gp100. Thanks TEX for ur input
