Reloading .45ACP and .223/5.56

Youtube is a good source for videos, to see how the various presses work, and what each stage is doing. I love my RCBS Rockchucker, but Lee stuff is pretty good too, and cheaper. Of course I don't shoot my 45 acp a whole lot, so the single stage is fine for me, if you load more than a couple hundred per month, you're gonna want a progressive pretty quick.

If you're going to reload 5.56 x45 military you'll need to get yourself a little primer pocket reamer to remove the crimp. They're not expensive but necessary. Get a copy of ABC's of reloading from amazon.ca.

do you do reloading ?

we should get a case of beer and make a night out of it :p

First thing is first, buy a reloading book, hell, buy two or three. Then solicit all the info you can from CGNer's for product recommendations, etc, etc.

If your reloading .45 and feeding .223 into a semi-auto, IMO, you are a prime candidate for an auto-index turret press or progressive press.

Personally, I currently use a single stage for my 9mm, but will likely be upgrading to a turret press in the near future.
