Has anyone reloaded any 50 BMG PMC brass. How many reloads can you get out of them. What is the best concentricity you can get out of this brass after you reload them through dies and after you place a bullet? What kind of groups can you get at 500 yards out to 1000 yards.

PMC 50 BMG brass

I have reloaded the PMC brass numerous times. So for with zero issues, the primer crimp does have to be removed, and most are exact trim length after firing. I have reloaded a box of 10 (as a test) 4 times so far. I'm using a custom 700gr all brass bullet, seated to my measured chamber with .010" bump. I have not checked concentricity after reloading. Groups at 500 are approx 3", depends on the day for me. Hope this helps.

50 cal

I have been loading for my fifty for some time now. There are numerous variables. How many grains of powder, head space, bullet seat depth and so on. Is your gun custom or off the shelf.A custom rig will always be more accurate. Military guns are made to be reliable, customs are made for accuracy. If you tune your ammo and find the sweet spot, cross your fingers and have perfect conditions, you can hit very small things at a great distance. The best I have done is two shots in a three foot circle at 2500 meters. The worst I don't talk about. Rick at Alberta Tactical is the best resource for 50cal info and stuff.
