reloading 7.62x39(can it be done)

Don't waste your time with steel empties. Milsurp is cheap. If you want to reload, and I don't know why? then buy brass cartridges and save them up. There are several makers of x39 in brass readily available on the market as well as name brands for dies.
On a different note, both PRVI and Selleir make a good round in a 125gr soft point. My girlfriends CZ bolt action shoots through a dime a 100 yards. Why reload?

yeah the mil surplus is so cheap so so cheap that shooting it is not worth reloading.
some indoor ranges will not let u shoot unless its the soft tip, in which case buy the prvi or the S&b and reload
