Reloading 7.62x53R

Good Day,

Recently I acquired a Finn M-27 Mosin sniper, which is chambered for "F" type cartridge(there's no "D" stamping on the barrel). Barrel diameter is .308(according to the previous owner), so...did anyone ever try to load for this particular type of Mosin? What powder and bullet weight did you use? And what's the correct COL?
I know, Hirsch Precision has Lapua brass and bullets in stock, however I'm more than anxious to load from the existing stash of once fired brass before the order from Hirsch's arrives...

As far as I know, you just use 7.62x54R loads.

"...according to the previous owner..." Slug it yourself to be sure. Finn Nagants can have different bore diameters, but it shouldn't be .308". Somewhere around .311". They are 7.62 x 54R, not 7.62 x 53.

"...what's the correct COL?..." COAL is 3.037". If your manual doesn't have 7.62 x 54R or 7.62 Russian(The 7.62 x 39 is also called this) load data, there's lots of data on-line. I have data too if you want it. toheir@hotmail.com
