Reloading 7mm mags

Just wondering what would be a good powder for reloading 7mm mags

i used reloader-22 in my 7mm rem mag
not sure if its the best or not

Reloder 22, H4831, IMR4831, Vihtavuori N165, IMR7828, H1000, Winchester WMR, Ramshot Magnum, accurate 3100. these will all work in the 7mm, some may give better accuracy than others in YOUR rifle. Regards, Eagleye.

RL22/H4831sc/H1000 would be 3 I'd check out first

What do you wanna shoot cayotes with it?
Speer manual lists a 110gr bullet with a starting load of 67gr of IMR 4831 and 71 gr as max. don't see anything on varget

100gr? The 7mmRM is not particularly efficient with lighter bullets. You don;t really gain that much over a 280 or 7mm08, but burn a LOT more powder.

I can't really make a recommendation to you, as my loads are all 160+ gr using really slow powders

For my 162gr SST and Amax, Re25 has been superb. H1000 was too fast and I haven't spent much time with Retumbo to make any conclusions.

I also used Fed 215M primers, Rem brass and collet neck sized.
