I have done a fair amount of reloading, but just basic stuff. At any rate I haven't blown my self or any rifles up. I just bought a Ruger #1 International in 7x57 Mauser with 1: 8.75" rh twist. I have RCBS reloading equipment, I am looking at buying dies. I only have this rifle in that cal. and only plan to shoot at the range punching holes up 200 yards. All my other reloading dies are full length I was looking at dies at Epp's and I see Neck sizing dies. Is this what I should be using ??? I am thinking yes. What do you say. Also what bullet weight would work best ?

I set my FL dies to partial full length or neck size depending on what the rifle prefers.

In my #1 RSI I get good accuracy from bullets ranging from 120gr. up to 175gr.

I'm running 139's right now and can't complain.

Well - If its your only 7X57, then neck sizing is most viable. You'll still need the FL die to bump the brass every once and a while.
Suggest you play around with bullet weights - your rifle will preferentially tune to a given weight. This characteristic is generally unique to each rifle.

OK, Thanks. I will get the full length dies. I think I will start with Sierra 140 gr. SBT. Looks like a good place to start. If I can get them. Jack
