Im interested in getting into reloading.. looking for advice on what basic equipment I should be looking at. I don't want to spend a lot as at least for now
I just want to be able to load for my 300wm 30-06 and maybe 9mm down the road. Is the cheap Lee 50th Anniversary Reloader Kit a good place to start?

Yes, that's a very good place to start. If you upgrade down the road, the Lee Breech Lock Challenger press will still make a great backup...

The Lee 50th kit is a good start.

You will need a few other things.

For 30-06, you'll need one of these: https://leeprecision.com/gage-holder-30-06-sprfld.html

For 300 Win Mag, you'll need one of these: https://leeprecision.com/gage-holder-300-win-mag.html

It looks like the 50th Anniversary kit comes with a cutter and lock stud, but for convenience I've always bought a cutter and lock stud for each case length gauge.

You will also need a primer pocket cleaner: https://leeprecision.com/primer-pocket-cleaner.html

You will also need a chamfer tool: https://leeprecision.com/chamfer-tool.html

For the absolute cheapest way to get into reloading, have a look at the Lee Classic Loader.

Lee does not make one for 300 Win Mag but they do for 30-06: https://leeprecision.com/lee-loader-30-06-spring.html

The Lee Loader neck sizes only, so you use the Lee Loader with with cases that have been fired in your rifle. These things are handy, portable, easy to store, and are a great way to get started with reloading with minimal equipment and set up.
 
Normally I would suggest a single stage setup of somekind but in your case you'll want to go straight to a turret press because you're interested in loading 9mm. The Lee Classic Turret press kit would probably last you many years of loading.

Loading 9mm on single stage was very tedious and I think there was a point of diminishing returns in terms of the amount of time spent vs. the accuracy and use of the rounds you're loading. Sure, they shot pretty well but I don't think I gained much as an inexperienced pistol shooter and I spent many hours churning out enough ammo to last what felt like only minutes at the range.

So we went from a no to the Lee Classic Turret to recommending a Dillon? Really? Haha

I thought the Classic Turret was a pretty good middle ground/versatile option to start with.
 
No, own both
He starts with single stage for his both rifles, maybe start 9mm on single stage, if he shoots volume get a second press a dillon

Nothing wrong with owning and using 2 presses down the road
I would never lose my time reloading 9mm on my lee single stage, just as i wouldn’t load my precision 308 on my dillon
Different presses different applications

Mentionning 2 rifle calibers for initial start up, points it to a single stage as a great choice
